Nurse Deligation

Nurse Delegation enables nursing assistants to perform specific tasks.

Under Washington State law, the Nurse Delegation Program permits nursing assistants to carry out certain tasks—such as administrating medications and testing blood glucose—that are usually executed by licensed nurses. However, a registered nurse should teach and direct the nursing assistant, as well as give nursing assessments of the patients’ condition.

As a staffing agency, we can staff your facility or hospital with certified nursing assistants and licensed practical nurses who work under the direct supervision of registered nurses to perform simple care tasks.
